We are thrilled to share a landmark moment in the history of our club. LA Fire Soccer Club has officially entered into a partnership with professional Reading FC, a proud member of England's EFL. This collaboration marks an exciting new chapter for our players, coaches, and the wider LA Fire community. Directors Stuart Hayers, Keir Hannity, & Bobby Velasquez flew to the UK to finalize the partnership, along with Reading FC owner, and NOLA native, Alec Lundberg.
So what does this mean for us?
Shared Resources & Expertise
Through this partnership, we will benefit from the exchange of knowledge, coaching philosophy, and development resources between our two clubs, bringing a truly professional, international standard to everything we do at LA Fire.
Player & Coach Pathways
This partnership opens real doors. Selected players will have the opportunity to travel to England for trials with Reading FC, and we anticipate the movement of coaches and players in both directions as we build this relationship together.
On the Jersey
We are proud to announce that the Reading FC badge will be worn on LA Fire jerseys as a visible symbol of the connection between our clubs and a mark of the ambition we share.

NEW LAFRENIERE LIGHT PROJECT COMPLETE

Louisiana Fire Soccer Club is excited to announce the successful completion of its lighting project on Lafreniere Park Grass Fields 3, 4, and 5. This significant upgrade highlights the Club’s unwavering commitment to enhancing youth sports and providing more opportunities for our community.
The project, which began in the Fall of 2023, involved extensive planning and collaboration with key stakeholders. Louisiana Fire Soccer Club presented the initiative to the Jefferson Parish Council and Lafreniere Park, aiming to elevate the quality of our soccer facilities with the addition of state-of-the-art LED lighting.
This new lighting not only improves the playing conditions but also extends the usability of the fields, allowing for more practice and game times. It is a testament to our dedication to fostering youth development and ensuring that our community has access to top-notch facilities.

Louisiana Fire Soccer Club is thrilled to announce the addition of Stuart Hayers as its Foundation Technical Director and Head of Business Development.
In his role as Technical Director, Coach Stu will be focused on the development, retention, and recruitment of players and coaches in the U7 through U12 age groups.
In his role as Head of Business Development, Coach Stu will be focused on fundraising and sponsorships to advance the club’s Let Them Play Scholarship fund and facility improvement initiatives.
“Stu is a great addition to our staff,” said Executive Director of Coaching Hubie Collins. “He is well respected throughout the soccer community for both his playing ability and coaching acumen. His development of younger players is second to none. We look forward to bringing his expertise to all of our players and coaching staff in these age groups.”
“I am excited to start working at the club that I love, with the soccer community that I love, focusing on the sport that I love, building on the great things already being achieved,” said Stuart Hayers.

Rompiendo el récord de nuestro club, un total de 10 equipos representaron a la Asociación de Fútbol de Louisiana y LA FIRE SC en Greenville, Carolina del Sur para los Campeonatos Regionales de USYS entre el 18 y el 24 de junio de 2021.

Nuestro 05G Louisiana Fire Red reservó su segundo viaje consecutivo a los USYS Nationals al prevalecer en su grupo de playoffs de la Liga Nacional. Al vencer 3-1 a Idaho Rush y empatar 1-1 al Tonka Fusion de Minnesota, estableció un enfrentamiento obligatorio el domingo contra California Legends. En un partido muy disputado que se desarrolló como una final, Chloe Burst ayudó a Jane Schneider con un tiro de esquina bien entregado que Jane convirtió un gol de cabeza desde fuera del área de seis yardas. Fue el cuarto gol de Jane del fin de semana y la segunda asistencia de Chloe. Bella Reynolds y Stella Martin también contribuyeron con un gol y una asistencia, respectivamente. La defensa del equipo fue excepcional durante todo el fin de semana contra los rivales de la máxima categoría, marcada por una tremenda parada de la arquera Olivia Icamina cuando el Fire detuvo el intento de regreso de Legends.

SUMINISTRO DE DRIVE PARA VÍCTIMAS DEL HURACÁN ETA
Louisiana Fire SC realizó una campaña de abastecimiento en apoyo de los residentes hondureños que sintieron los devastadores efectos del huracán Eta. Gracias a toda nuestra comunidad de fútbol que ayudó a donar y clasificar muchos camiones cargados de suministros que se enviaron a los necesitados.

Estimadas familias de bomberos de Louisiana:
Si bien la pandemia de Covid-19 ha sido un desafío en muchos aspectos, le ha dado a nuestra organización la oportunidad de acelerar la revisión integral de nuestra organización.
A medida que volvemos a jugar en el campo, también volvemos con un nuevo logo y un propósito redefinido.
El nuevo logo es representativo tanto de nuestro pasado como de nuestro futuro:
Somos Louisiana Fire Soccer Club.
La inclusión de Louisiana en nuestro nombre refleja el hecho de que el club atrae a jugadores de toda el área metropolitana de Nueva Orleans y de varias ciudades del sureste de Louisiana.
El nombre Fuego combinado con el oro refleja el dicho "El fuego es la prueba del oro", que significa que la adversidad es necesaria para que una persona logre su verdadero potencial.
Los cuatro puntos de la X representan el huracán Katrina, que es el evento que unió a los cuatro clubes mediante la fusión (Lafreniere, Lakeview, Carrolton y PAC se unió más tarde).
Las cuatro estrellas representan nuestros cuatro valores fundamentales de respeto, responsabilidad, resiliencia y equidad.
El contorno del balón de fútbol representa el deporte que practicamos.
La flor de lis modificada representa el área de Nueva Orleans.
La parte superior de la flor de lis tiene la forma de una llama para representar el fuego, mientras que el pentágono en la parte inferior de la flor de lis representa el fútbol.
Nuestro objetivo sigue siendo educar a sus hijos a través del deporte del fútbol. Creemos que el fútbol brinda la mejor educación en todos los deportes, a través del trabajo en equipo, la confianza, la disciplina, el carácter, la adversidad y la resolución de problemas en el campo.
Hemos desarrollado un concepto de "Camino para todos" que beneficiará a todos los jugadores, en todas las edades y en todas las etapas de desarrollo. Continuaremos manteniendo una relación con Chicago Fire. Recientemente hemos agregado relaciones con Houston y Austin para nuestras jugadoras. También tendremos la capacidad de ampliar las relaciones con otros clubes de aficionados y profesionales.
Nuestro plan de estudios ahora cubre sesiones de capacitación y progresiones para todos los grupos de edad y todos los programas. El objetivo es que cada jugador alcance sus metas.
También hemos ampliado nuestro programa de asistencia financiera, de modo que nuestra organización está disponible para cualquiera que quiera jugar. La campaña "Let Them Play" es fundamental para esta iniciativa.
Para terminar, quisiera reiterar el compromiso de la Junta Directiva con nuestros jugadores, nuestros entrenadores y nuestros padres. Cada desafío es una oportunidad de crecimiento y Covid-19 no es diferente. Saldremos de esto más fuertes y más enfocados en ejecutar nuestra misión.
